Our Learning Approach

Schools are about discovery and growth which is why we focus our education on sparking curiosity and igniting wonder in and out of the classroom. Small class sizes allow our high quality teachers to create inspirational learning environments to inspire, support, and challenge each girl and boy for just that goal. Our academic curriculum is ambitious, rigorous and challenging, but with stretch and support for all individuals. We have an excellent balance between innovation and tradition, with technology permeating through our academic curriculum.

Holmwood has extensive grounds and fantastic facilities where our young people can learn new skills and find their niche. Holmwood is a family school; we believe in partnership between pupils, teachers and parents to enable each individual girl and boy to thrive and achieve their potential in and out of the classroom. We are committed to providing a broad and balanced education so that we can help each girl or boy to discover their own academic, artistic, musical, creative and physical potential and help it to flourish.
